Pastor Bill McKee continues part 2 of his series on 'The Cross' from Mark 15:21-32. Pastor provides three truths that expose the failure of the cross: 1) when men nailed Jesus to the cross, they changed it's nature from Defeat and Death to Victory and Life, 2) when men chose a cross to punish Jesus, they failed to see that the one on the cross was more powerful than the tree, and 3) when men chose to carry out the vengeance of Satan, it set the stage for God to completely defeat his adversary.

God has brought a message through Pastor Steve Terry on 'If We Would Only But Listen' from Psalms 81. Learn that these promises are available to us: 1) God will meet your needs, 2) God will give you victory, and 3) God will satisfy your longings. These blessings promised always follow obedience as we listen to Him. When we don't listen, God lets us turn away and we are given in to our own devices, plans, and ways (Psalms 81:11-12).

We are challenged to not live in the same realm as the world while trying to project kingdom principles. He invites us to come those who are wary and burdened, He will give us rest (Matt 11:28-30). We need to rest at the feet of God as our works are not sufficient.
